Linda Kay Carter, 56, Sarasota, died Nov. 24, 2004. She was born July 31, 1948, in Washington, D.C., and came to Sarasota 15 years ago from Great Falls, Va. She worked for Flemmings Steak House in Sarasota and before that worked at Ruths Chris Steak House. She was a Catholic. Survivors include a son, Christian Rodill of New York; sisters Barbara A. Brayfield of Georgia, Joyce M. Alder of Maryland and Gloria J. Jenkins of Virginia; and a brother, Edward G. Rodill of Virginia. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the USA Boxing Association of Florida, 2330 Rocky Point Road, Malibar, FL 32950.
