BARBER, Linda Kathryn (nee White) December 11th, 1950 October 21st, 2009 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda, following a year long battle with cancer. Predeceased by her dad, Geordie and brother, Robert. Survived by her loving sons, Damon (Christie) and Toby (Tania); grandchildren, Haley and Megan; mom, Irene; brother, George; sisters, Nancy and Roberta; sister-in-law, Linda White; numerous nieces, nephews and too many friends to mention. Linda's passions in life were her family, friends, gardening, horses, quiet country life and her work. Linda worked at the City of Colwood for 22 years. She was a free spirit who touched so many people's lives and will be truly missed by all who knew her. Special thanks to Linda's good friends, Shelly and Tom in Kamloops for supporting and caring for Linda during her final months. A celebration of Linda's life will be held on Saturday, November 28th at 2:00 pm, Luxton Hall, 1040 Marwood Drive.
