LINDA K. ANDERSON EAST CHICAGO, IN Linda K. Anderson, age 58 of East Chicago, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2013 at Kindred Care Transitional and Rehab Center in Dyer. She is survived by her daughter, Cherron (Sonya) Anderson of Indianapolis; son, Johnny (Caitlin) Aldridge of St. Paul, MN; four grandchildren: Kyler, Monteniz, Kevin, and Kemonnie; mother, Margaret O'Neal of Griffith; four aunts: Ora Porter of Oakland, CA, Robbie Morrison of Omaha, NE, Erma (Orige) Sneed and Gwendolyn King both of Gary; two uncles: Charles (Doris) Anderson of Lynwood, IL and Chester (Janet) Anderson of Hammond; a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends. Preceded in death by her sister, Theresa A. Lacey; and maternal grandparents: Stanford and Bertha Anderson. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John AME Church, 4730 McCook Ave., East Chicago with Rev. Bonita Whitehead officiating. Interment at Fern Oaks Cemetery, Griffith. Visitation will be Friday, July 5, 2013 at St. John AME Church from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service. Hinton & Williams Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
