Linda Irene Simmons, 56, Bradenton, died Jan. 4, 2006, at her home. She was born Sept. 29, 1949, in Fayetteville, Tenn., and came to the area in 1968 from Wittman, Md. She attended the Pentecostal Revival Center of Ellenton. Survivors include a son, Shannon L. Stinton of Hurlock, Md.; sisters Robin Ford and LuAnn Fluharty, both of Easton, Md.; a brother, Henry Stinton of Easton, Md.; her father and stepmother, Loma and Elizabeth Stinton of Wittman; and a granddaughter. There will be no visitation. A service will be at 5 p.m. today at the Pentecostal Revival Center of Ellenton. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes and Crematory, 26th St. Chapel, Bradenton, is in charge.
