Linda Gail Peters 1948-2012 Linda Gail Peters of Saint John, wife of the late Donald Peters, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on February 23, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Edna (Mahaney) Fairweather. Linda enjoyed playing cards, dice, and board games, and enjoyed the solitude of her home, as well as the time spent with her canine kids, Taco and Bell. Linda is survived by her children, Mary Ann Kingston (Dale) of Saint John, Sheldon McKenna of Alberta, Donnie Peters, Dwight Peters, Larry Peters, all of Saint John, and Linda McCauley (Jeff) of Grand Bay-Westfield; brothers David Fairweather and Larry Fairweather, both of Saint John; a sister, Nancy Fairweather of Montreal; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday and Saturday, December 28 and 29, 2012, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at 3:00 PM from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery on Monday at 11:00 AM.
