HOPKINTON - Linda Gail Corbin Flynn, 62, mother, friend and adviser, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013. She was born in Manchester on July 8, 1951, to Louis and Pat Corbin. Linda graduated from Merrimack Valley High School and the New Hampshire Hospital School of Nursing. Linda obtained her Master's of Science in Nursing from Rivier College and was credentialed as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Linda devoted her life to helping others, spending much of her career at New Hampshire Hospital in Concord. Linda's most recent place of employment was at the VA Hospital in Manchester, and she greatly enjoyed working with our veterans. Linda is survived by her daughter, Caitlin; son Christopher and his wife, Alissa; her grandson, Corbin; her lifelong friend and former husband, Chris Flynn; her sister, Donna and her husband, Alan LaCroix; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends who were considered family. Linda was most proud of her children and her grandson. They added great joy to her life. Linda valued true friendship and was blessed to have a wide network of friends; she enjoyed spending time at the ocean with family and friends as well as her annual women's weekend. . services: Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Nov. 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 21 Center St., Concord, on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow downstairs in Ordway Hall where her wisdom, generosity, independent spirit and love of life will be celebrated. To help celebrate Linda's life, please bring any photos you would like to share; there will be a memory board for you to post and later they will be taken home with her children to bring comfort during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul's Food Pantry.
