Linda F. Johnson, age 60, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, in Fort Walton Beach. She resided in Fort Walton Beach for the last 10-plus years and was formerly of Virginia Beach. She was a member of Cinco Baptist Church and was a reformed Jew. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walt and Betty Sabol. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Donald Johnson; son, Phillip Johnson; sister, Marilyn Anderson; sister-in-law, Jessie Ruth (Ronald) Laird; and two grandchildren, Morgan and Megan Johnson. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m. at Hurricane Creek Cemetery. Flowers or memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons. Jay Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
