Linda L. (LeSage) Campbell, 59, a lifelong Maynard resident, died peacefully at home with her family by her side on Mon. Sept. 26, 2011 after a brief struggle with cancer. She was born in Concord and raised in Maynard, the daughter of the late William J. and Julia J. "Julie" (D'Amico) LeSage and sister of the late Michael LeSage. Linda graduated from Maynard High School, Class of 1969, and was employed for many years in purchasing for Hewlett-Packard. She was a longtime, dedicated member of the Maynard Lodge of Elks # 1568, where she was named Elk of the Year and served as an officer, including Lodge Secretary. An avid reader and excellent cook, Linda enjoyed the beach and trips to Foxwoods. She especially loved time spent with her granddaughters, Molly and Caoilainn in Groton, and overcame her fear of flying for visits with granddaughter, Natalie, in AZ. She is survived by two sons, Scott Campbell and wife Emily of Gilbert, AZ, and Jamie Campbell and wife Christine of Groton; her beloved granddaughters, Natalie, Molly and Caoilainn; three brothers, Edward LeSage of Petersham, William LeSage of Littleton and David LeSage of Maynard; her former husband Stewart T. "Tom" Campbell of Maynard; and a large extended family. Visiting hours are Thurs., Sept. 29th from 4-8pm at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave (Rte 111) Acton. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Fri., Sept. 30th at 9am in St. Bridget's Church, 1 Percival Street, Maynard.
