March 18, 2008 Linda A. Smith, 69, of East Syracuse, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter. Linda was born in Syracuse and had resided in East Syracuse for 40 years. She had worked at Western Electric and then spent the remainder of her life as a home-maker. She was a communicant of St. Matthew's Church in East Syracuse and was the wife of the late William T. Smith Sr., who died in 2002. Linda is survived by two sons, William T. Jr. of North Syracuse and Tim J. of East Syracuse; two daughters, Anne M. FitzPatrick and Patricia M. O'Donnell, both of East Syracuse; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A prayer service will be held 9 a.m. Saturday at Delaney-Greabell-Adydan Funeral Home. Burial: St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling Hours: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 241 Kinne St., East Syracuse, and a Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Monday, March 24, in St. Matthew's Church.
