GLENN -->Lillie Mae Brown Smith GLENN SPRINGS, SC-- Lillie Mae Brown Smith, 95, of Glenn Springs, died Monday, April 7, 2008, at White Oak Estates. Born August 9, 1912, in Pacolet Mills, SC, she was the daughter of the late William Oscar and Eva Quinn Brown. She was first married to the late William James Casey and then to the late William Faber (Bill) Smith. She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church of Glenn Springs and the Episcopal Women of the Church. Survivors include two daughters, Norma Casey Meadows of Whiteville, NC, and Mary Casey Page and her husband Jerriel Page of Duncan; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and a number of great-step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, William James Casey, Jr.; and three step-children, William Faber Smith, Jr., Mary Kay Tinsley, and Thomas Grady Smith. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at Calvary Episcopal Church in Glenn Springs. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the Church conducted by the Rev. Robert H. Long and the Rev. Monty King. Burial will be in Cedar Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery in Enoree. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Episcopal Church, PO Box 369, Pauline, SC 29374; or to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 110 Dillon Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
