Lillie M. Jackson, 89, Sarasota, died Aug. 4, 2002. She was born Dec. 12, 1912, in Marianna and came to Sarasota in 2001 from Detroit. She retired as a certified nursing assistant. She was a member of the Greater Hurst Chapel A.M.E. Church. Survivors include cousins, Jeanette Austin, Dorothy Lee, Thelma Jones, Elizabeth Edison, Frances Browne, Melvin Lampkin, Robert Lampkin and Ervin Hodges, all of Sarasota. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday at Jones Funeral Home, Sarasota. A service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Greater Hurst Chapel, A.M.E. Church. Burial will be in Palms Memorial Park.
