Lillie Mae Evans Hayes, 90, widow of James Ivy Hayes, formally of 155 Ivy Hayes Road, passed away September 18, 2007 at Rosemond Living Center.Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Robert Evans and Lula Ballew Evans. She was retired from Sangamo and was a member of Griffin Baptist Church.Surviving are a daughter, Tammy H. Ferguson and husband Randall of Pickens.In addition to her husband, a sister, Lona Dobbs and a brother, Paul Evans predeceased her.Private graveside services were held.The family request that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to Providence Presbyterian Church, Debt Reduction Fund, 4000 Highway 153, Greenville, SC 29611.
