MILLARD, LILLIAN COHOES - Lillian Marie Elting Millard passed May 11, 2010 at Samaritan Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Schagticoke, she was the daughter of the late George C. and Anne Reinhart Elting. Marie was a longtime resident of Cohoes and was loved and cherished by her family and friends. Marie was the mother of seven children; Deborah Anne Magaziner, Bruce Millard, George Tompkins, Jr., Catherine Tompkins, Valerie Tompkins Halpin, Ed Millard, Jr and the late Paula Christensen. She is also survived by her sister, Susan Massey and her former husband George Tompkins, Sr., 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Marie was laid to rest at Memory Gardens, Colonie alongside her youngest daughter Paula after a private ceremony.
