<!-- FH = Beckman Williamson CB -->Lila Ray MillerCocoa Beach, FLLila Ray Miller, 79, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2013. God called her home and she is in the presence of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Lila was born in Washington, DC, to Ralph and Lila Burton on December 16, 1933.She married S/Sgt. Edward Miller on February 7, 1953. As an Air Force wife, she made a new home every two and a half years, throughout the states, Germany and Alaska. She kept their son and home going while her husband was on temporary duty other places. After her husbands retirement from the Air Force, they settled in Bellevue, Nebraska for 29 years. Lila was active in civil affairs, President of the PTA for many years and helped to elect city officials. She and her husband came to Cocoa Beach in July of 1966.Lila is survived by her husband, Edward; son, Paul ,Sr.; grandson, Paul, Jr.; great-grandson, Preston; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Wayne and Paula Miller of Boynton Beach, FL; and sisters-in-law, Charlotte Altland, Dorothy Hawkins and Gloria Flaharty of York, PA.A member of Oceanside Community Church in Satellite Beach, she was head of the prayer chain and Mission committee. Lila will certainly be missed by her many friends.A viewing and funeral service will be held at Oceanside Community Church, 305 Cassia Blvd., Satellite Beach, FL 32927. The viewing will be Thursday, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM, with funeral reception following the service.
