Lewis B. Henderson of Vero Beach, Florida Lewis B. Henderson, 87, of Vero Beach, passed away December 4, 2008. He was born June 25, 1921 in Binghamton, N.Y., and moved to Vero Beach in 1987. He was a World War II Army veteran and a Pearl Harbor survivor. He worked 39 years for Endicott Johnson and was a member of Community Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Dorothy R. Henderson; daughter, Joyce A. Vonada (Wayne); grandson, Jeff Vonada; sister, Marion DeLaney; and cousin, Barbara Stratton. He was predeceased in death by his sister, Elsie Chase. A private service was held on December 13, 2008, with the Rev. Kent Hawkins officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Chenango Valley Cemetery.
