LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mrs. Leta Jane Smalley Miller, 90, of 304 Moss Street, entered into rest on Thursday, January 12, 2006, at Doctors Hospital, Augusta. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 15, 2006, at 3 p.m. at Lincolnton Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Rosser and Rev. Paul C. Reviere officiating. Interment will be in Lincolnton City Cemetery. Mrs. Miller was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Brantley Calaway Smalley and Leta Parsons Smalley. She was a 1933 graduate of Lincolnton High School, 1937 graduate of Georgia College of Beauty Culture and 1975 graduate of School of Practical Nursing from Augusta Area Technical School. Mrs. Miller was a member of Lincolnton Baptist Church where she was a member of the T.E.L. Sunday School Class, former church clerk and Primary Sunday School Class Teacher. She was also a former girl scout leader and presently a member of the Lincoln County Housing Authority Resident Advisory Board. Survivors include a son, Lou Miller and wife, Kay, of Chapin, S.C.; three daughters, Lucary Henson and husband, Jimmy of Flowery Branch, Ga., Maree Seigler and husband, Mike, of Lincolnton, and Betty Miller Tutor of Kissimmee, Fla.; sister, Harriet Sutton and husband, Arnold, of Warner Robbins, Ga.; 11 grandchildren, Shannon Archer, John Tutor and wife, Courtney, Katie Tutor, Jimmy Tutor, Cory Miller, Brent Miller, Troy Henson, Timothy Henson and wife, Amanda, Joe Seigler, Robyn S. Halcame and Jessica Tutor; four great-grandchildren, David Henson, Abbie Tutor, Kaylee Tutor and Skyler Tutor. Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Lincolnton Baptist Church, P.O. Box 357, Lincolnton, GA 30817. Friends may call at the residence of Mike and Maree Seigler, 1007 Saddlebrook Drive, Lincolnton.
