AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Lester Terrell Johnson passed away August 16, 2011. Funeral Services were conducted Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011 at 3PM at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel of Milledgeville with the Rev. Jerry Bradley and Rev. Alan McCoy officiating. Interment followed in the Sparta City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 until the service hour. Mr. Johnson was a native of Warren County and a life long resident of Sparta. He retired from Lumber Transport after 27 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II. He is preceded in death by his parents Samuel Terrell and Mary Donnice Norris Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Jeanette Johnson of Sparta, Daughter- Donna (Ken) Conaway of McIntyre, Son Michael T. (Betty) Johnson of Sparta, Sister Janie Swint of Sandersville, and Grandchildren Dr. Brooke Conaway of Milledgeville and Chris Johnson of Atlanta.
