Lessie Mae Williams Lessie Mae Williams, 61, a seamstress, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008, in Tallahassee, Fla. The service will be at 10 a.m. EDT Saturday, June 7, at New Mount Zion AME Church, with burial at DeSoto Field Cemetery. Viewing will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 6, at the Grant Richardson Jr. Memorial Chapel at Richardson's Family Funeral Care.A native of Tallahassee, she was a member of New Mount Zion AME Church. She worked for many years as a seamstress for Randolph Alterations and One Low Price Cleaners. Survivors include a son, Robert Strong Jr.; daughters, Angelo "Angie" Robinson and Tamika Hedin; two sisters, four brothers; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
