Lois Leona Richards went to be with the Lord May 13, 2003. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late William George and Bessie Mae Phillips Greene. Ms. Richards was a teacher at Southside High School in Greenville and was a member of Augusta Road Baptist Church. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Gigi Perry, of Greenville, and Vicki Richards, of Laurens; sisters, Catherine Brannon, of Clayton, N.C., and Frances Hensley, of Greenville; a brother, Richard Greene, of Portland, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Rhonda Richards, of Burlington, N.C.; and grandchildren, Miller Perry and Tyler Richards. She was predeceased by a son, Mark Richards; and a brother, Heyward Greene. Memorial services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Augusta Road Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Marion Hare officiating. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Mackey Mortuary on Century Drive. Memorials may be made to Augusta Road Baptist Church, 1823 Augusta Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
