Weare - Leon F. Williams, 64, of Weare, died peacefully on April 2, 2015, at Hospice House in Concord surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Grasmere on Oct. 22, 1950, to Walter and Vesta Williams. Leon attended Weare schools and served with the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He drove trucks for many years and was employed by the Town of Weare until his retirement in November of 2013. He enjoyed hunting and golfing. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends. Members of his family include his wife of 44 years, Linda Foote Williams; his daughters, Patricia Sizemore and her husband, Paul, Kristi Lover and her husband, Ron, all of Weare; one son, Leon Williams and his wife, Jennifer, of Milan; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Walter Williams of Milford and Roger Williams of Oregon; sister, Sandra Lahey and her husband, Barry, of Weare; sister, Virginia White of Allenstown; many nieces and nephews. . services: Calling hours will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at French and Rising Funeral Home, 17 South Mast St., Goffstown. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Spring burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
