The visitation for Mrs. Peters will be held this evening at the church on Friday from 10:30-10:55 a.m. Born in Camden, South Carolina, Lena was the beloved daughter of the late Sumter Jones and Mable Griffin Jones. She passed away on January 22, 2015 at Palmetto Health Richland. She is survived by, two children: Kenneth Darryl Peters, Sr. and Sandra Peters (Marvin) Newman; one sister, Dr. Elizabeth "Bettye" Jenkins-Allen (Sy); eight grandchildren, Tawanda D. Peters, Cynthia Peters, Elonne R. Bradley, Baragon (Jane) Bradley Jr., Kenneth D. (Kyra) Peters, Jr., Kevin J. Peters, Melvin L. Sampson, Jr., LeShonda Sampson; eight great grandchildren, Stacionne Bradley, Baragon Bradley, III, Latricia M. Peters, Brial Bradley, Kenneth Peters, III, Kerrington Peters, Tajz Bradley, Ennai Simons and Jehkai Simons; two great-great grandchildren, Hugo and Immouri Montrose.
