GREENSBORO Lela Mae Smith, age 77, of Greensboro, died June 2, 2011, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Rising Star Baptist Church with Rev. Freddy Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Sarah Christian Cemetery with Washington & Paige Mortuary directing. Visitation will be today from 12 noon to 7 p.m. with family hour from 5 to 7 p.m. at the mortuary. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church.
