JACKSON, LELA FAYE MILLER, 83 Ocala - Mrs. Lela Faye Miller Jackson, passed away September 10, 2006 at the Legacy Hospice House. She was born in Amsterdam, Ohio and moved to Ocala in 2001 from Newberry, FL. She was a graduate of Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Ohio. She was the daughter of Otto & Marie Miller. Her husband, Leon (Red) Jackson preceded in death in 2001. She is survived by two sons, Leon Joseph Jackson, Jr. of Ocala and K. Franklin Jackson of Alpharetta, GA.; and one daughter, Cynthia Leigh Hammett of Ocala, FL. She is also survived by a brother, Donald Miller of Sanford, FL., and preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Charles Miller. Her sisters, Vera McCully of Palm Desert, CA., Dorothy Hardesty of Seattle, WA., and Lois Ray of Carrollton, Ohio also survive her. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Lela was Past President of Jordan Marsh Customer Advisory Board and Past President of Soroptomist Club of Orlando, FL. She was a teacher at the United Cerebral Palsy Center, Secretary and hairdresser at the Pine Castle Memorial Chapel and Walt Disney World. The family will receive friends at ROBERTS BRUCE WEST CHAPEL, 6241 SW St. Rd. 200, Ocala, FL. from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2006. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2006 at the funeral home. Private interment services will be at Florida National Cemetery.
