DAVIS, LEE WILTON, 64, of Louisville, died Thursday afternoon, March 29, 2007 at Norton Hospital. He was born in Jacksonville, FL and was a graduate of Georgetown Prep and Georgetown University. He pursued graduate studies at the City University of NY, at Yale and at the Max Planck Institute of Munich. He was an entrepreneur and an investor, a lifelong learner and an aviation enthusiast. He recently served on the boards of Actors Theatre of Louisville, Kentucky Shakespeare Festival, Cathedral Heritage Foundation and 33 Victor Airport Association. He was preceded in death by his parents Letha Wilton and A.D. Davis. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Whittle Davis; and three children, Chase Wilton Davis, Evan Winthrop Davis, Amelia Whittle Davis, all of Louisville; his brother Robert D. Davis (Isabelle) of Jacksonville, FL; his nieces, Caroline D. Fitzgerald of Middleburg, VA, Ashley D. Quamme of Potomac, MD and Jordan E. Davis of Jacksonville; and many cousins. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at The Cathedral of the Assumption, 443 S. Fifth Street. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Pearson Funeral Home, 149 Breckenridge Lane. Memorial contributions may be made to Louisville Collegiate School, Actors Theatre of Louisville, or James Graham Brown Cancer Center.
