Lee Wyatt Smith, 75, of 104 League St., died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.Mr. Smith was born in Easley, a son of the late Ralph Wyatt and Ruth O. Whitmire Smith. He was retired from Gaylord Container/Crownzellerbach, and was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran.Surviving are a son, Stephen Smith, of the home; a granddaughter, Stephanie Smith; a brother, Charlie Smith, and his wife, Jean; a niece and her husband, Charlene and Ken Arrowwood, and their son, Allen; a daughter-in-law, Angie Smith; and two special friends from Pendleton Street Baptist Church, Albert Boggs and J.P. Waldrop.Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Lou Ann Alexander Smith.The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Dillard Memorial Funerals and Cremations. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Make A Wish Foundation, 726 Lowndes Hill Road, Greenville, SC 29607.Dillard Funerals and Cremations are serving the Smith family.
