Mr. Lee Edward Jones, age 87 of Commerce died Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Jones was born in Jefferson to the late, Lettius and Bessie Mae Jones. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, WWII Army Veteran, and Owner of Ed and Bill Photo Studio.Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Bettie Blanche Lacek Jones of Commerce; daughters, Linda Snipes of Athens and Patti Quinn of Hull; son, Joe Jones of Commerce; four grandchildren.Funeral service will be Friday, March 23 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Carlton Peters officiating with the interment following in Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 6-8 PM.Little-Ward Funeral Home Commerce is in charge of arrangement.
