DOWNEY, Lee Anne Corine Nora The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Monday, April 25, 2005 at the age of 56 years. Daughter of the late Clarence W. and of the late Agnes (née Olsen) Harrington. Beloved wife of "Guy" Giles Edward Downey of Chelmsford. Loving mother of Keely Ann Downey (Andrew Rapsky) of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Shawn Downey (Karrie Cardinal) of Onaping falls and Heather Downey (Paul Berthiaume) of Azilda. Lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Pat and Lynne Downey of Feeeport Bahamas, Darryl and Judy Downey of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Lyall Downey of Abbotsford, B.C., Alanna & Lawrence Baxter of Thunder Bay, Sybil Anne and Michael MacMillon of Halifax, N.S., Denise and Gord Yule of Timmins, Larraine and Greg Godin of North Bay and Erin and Glenn Evans of Capreol. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Hayden and Tristan Rapsky and by Sarah and Kayla Cardinal. Mrs. Downey was a clerk at the Ministry of Natural Resources. Lee Anne will be remembered by her family as a sophisticated domesticate. She was very active in the Sudbury Breast Cancer Support Group. Her good character and the kindness of her heart won the affection of her loving family and friends. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, RR 15, Chelmsford, Friday from 2-5 and 7-9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Friday, April 29, 2005 at 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Co-operative Funeral Home, Chelmsford.
