FREEMAN, LAWRENCELawrence Dean Freeman 62, of Lake Butler passed away peacefully at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. Tuesday morning after an extended illness. He was born in Baker County, Living most of his life in Lake Butler. He was the son of the Late Lawrence H. Freeman and Gussie Smith Freeman. He was a Union County High School graduate Class of 1967. He retired in 1998 as County Road Supt. for Union County. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran. He was a member of the V. F. W. in Lake Butler. He attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Lake Butler Ward. He was a lifetime member of the Union Co. Riding Club. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years. Barbara Diane Davison Freeman. 2 Daughters: Melissa Wright (Richard) of Lake Butler and Jamie Freeman Hiram) of Morven , Ga. 4 Grandchildren: Austin Griffis; Noah Wright: Alex Cardona; and Addison Wright. 3 Brothers: Gene and Clinton Freeman both of Glen St, Mary and Ronnie Freeman of Macclenny. 2 sisters: Key Trowell of Lake Butler and Zannie Lynn Little of Lake City. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 A. M. in Sapp Cemetery at Raiford. with Elder Dale Smith officiating. Burial will follow under the care of Archer Funeral Home of Lake Butler. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P. M. Friday evening.
