ARGYLE - Laurie Ann Thibodeau Smith, 48, passed away peacefully July 12, 2010, with her loving family and friends by her side after a long battle with cancer. Laurie loved to travel. She traveled the U.S. for many years, touching many lives and hearts along the way. She returned home to Maine for her final months. She loved the outdoors, dogs, the color purple, shopping, playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends around a campfire. Laurie lived life to it's fullest, with a smile on her face, and the determination to go on. She was predeceased by her biological father, Louis Thibodeau Jr. of Kissimee, Fla. She is survived by her husband, Scott of Gibsonton, Fla.; her mom and dad, Dana and Louise Cox of Argyle; a brother, Dana Thibeault of Milford; three sisters, Teresa Sauter of Carlisle, Pa., Angel Stellwag of Carlisle, Pa., and Amy Strocsher of Tucson, Ariz.; nephews, Cody and Carter Thibeault; as well as other nieces and nephews.
