Laura Napper SACKVILLE, NB-The death of Laura Napper, age 84 of Sackville occurred at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, following a brief illness. Born in Sackville, she was a daughter of the late Thaddee & Elizabeth (Leger) Richard. A member of St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church, she was also an honorary member of the Sackville Senior Citizen's Club. Laura will be sadly missed by a son John (Barbara), Sackville; three daughters, Doris Hicks, Amherst, NS, Joyce (George) Gilroy, Brookdale, NS and Elizabeth ( Hanford ) Nye, Sackville; nine grandchildren,13 great grandchildren; three sisters, Eliza (Edmund) LeBlanc, Sackville, Eva Bourque, Scoudouc and Evangeline Ison, Belleville, ON. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur in 1996; a grandson, Georgie in 1997; two brothers, Andrew & Robert and a sister, Anna. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (364-1300) with visitation Saturday, 7 to 9 PM and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, January 27, 2003 at 11 am at St. Vincent's Church, Charlotte St., Sackville. Burial in the Sackville Cemetery at a later date. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
