Snellville, GA - Laura Jeanette "Jean" Wilkinson Smith, 91, of Snellville, Georgia, formerly of Anniston, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013. A graveside funeral service will be held at noon Friday, April 26, 2013, at Forestlawn Gardens in Anniston. Mrs. Smith was previously employed with the Anniston Star Newspaper as a secretary to the newspapers president and she was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her brother, William T. Wilkinson and husband Taylor Smith. She is survived by sisters, Betty Gilbert, of Snellville, Ga., Anne Wilkinson, of Anniston; niece and her husband, Laura and Lee Mitchell and great-nephew, Joseph Mitchell, all of Grayson, Gerogia.
