Laura E. Linder Wilson SPARTANBURG, SC- Mrs. Laura E. Linder Wilson, 81, of 320 Spruce Street Apt. 57-D, entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 18, 2014. Laura was born on December 5, 1932 to the late James Howard and Ethel Wood Linder. She was a native of Spartanburg County, SC. Mrs. Wilson was the widow of Mr. Leroy Wilson. Survivors include: her daughters; Rosalind (Willie) Woodruff, Audrey Wilson, and Veronica Anderson; her son, Willie D. (Jeri Ann) Wilson; her 11 grandchildren; her 20 great grandchildren; her 2 great grandchildren. She leaves many cousins, family and friends to cherish fond memories. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by: her daughter, Alverta Wilson - Cheeks; her sisters, Ruth Linder-Wilson and Virginia Linder-Smith; her brother, Rufus Linder. Laura was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A Celebration of the Life of Mrs. Laura Wilson will be held on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard Street, Spartanburg, SC 29301. Mrs. Wilson will lie in state from 12:00 noon until the hour of the service. The Reverend Frankie L. Ford will officiate. Interment will be held in Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
