Laura Alma Brown, 95, formerly of 452 Frank Brown Road, died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at Magnolia Place in Greenville. Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Frank N. and Melissa Stokes Brown. She was a homemaker, a member of Forestville Baptist Church and the Ruth Masters Sunday School Class. Surviving is a sister, Ada B. Durham of Travelers Rest; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Lois Roach; and brothers, O.E. Brown and Troy Brown. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Forestville Baptist Church, with burial at Enoree Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at The Howze Mortuary. The family will be at the home of Mae Brown, 400 Frank Brown Road, Travelers Rest.
