SPARTANBURG, SC-- Larry Wayne Smith, 47, died Saturday February 3, 2007 at Mountainview Nursing Home.Born January 13, 1960 to Robert D. and Arlene Allman Smith, Mr. Smith had been employed as a professional welder and was a member of The Stone Station Baptist Church.Surviving in addition to his parents are two sons, Travis Wayne Smith and Joshua Todd Smith; one sister, Wanda Pettit and her husband of Spartanburg; two nieces, Amanda Turner and Tanda Sutherland, both of Spartanburg; one nephew, Bobby Mainville, of Spartanburg; and one grandchild.The family will receive friends Monday, February 5, 2007 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2007, at 2:00 PM in the Lanford Dunbar Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Paul W. Smith and Rev. Warren Jones.
