TUSCALOOSA Larry M. Johnson, age 60, of Tuscaloosa, died Oct. 6, 2008, at Hospice of West Alabama. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Pate Cemetery in Buhl with Rev. Rick Bradley officiating and Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.He was preceded in death by his father, John William Johnson, his stepfather, Milton Barr, and his brothers, Clarence Johnson and William (Buddy) Johnson.Survivors include his wife, Glenda Johnson; his daughters, Kristi (Bo) Simmons and Cheryl Parker; his sisters, Gabriella (Gaye) Wormington and Glenda Barr Leasor; his mother, Willie D. Barr; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Ashleigh, Hunter, and Tristan.The family would like to thank the DCH nurses on 6 North and 3 South, the DCH SWAT team, Dr. George Miller, and the nurses at Hospice of West Alabama for the care they provided our loved one. Honorary pallbearers are employees of Warren Tire and Mr. and Mrs. John Norman.
