Larry Benjamin Johnson, 57, of Lecanto, FL, died Sunday, November 14, 2010. Born June 3, 1953, in Camden, NJ, to Hudson B. and Doris (Applegate) Johnson, he came here 39 years ago from Williamstown, N.J. He was the owner and operator of Larry's Appliance Repair and A/C in Lecanto, FL, and was very dedicated to those he served. Larry enjoyed being a former football coach at Crystal River High School, water sports and working out. He attended Gulf to Lake Church in Crystal River, FL.Surviving are his loving wife of 10 years, Noel Johnson of Lecanto, FL; sons, Aaron Homan of Gainesville, FL, Eric Johnson of Spring Hill, FL, and Taylor Ockman of Lecanto, FL; a daughter, Kourtney Cooper of Gainesville, FL; 4 grandsons; and 1 granddaughter.Private cremation arrangements are under the care of the Strickland Funeral Home Crystal River, FL.Sign the guest book at www.chronicleonline.com.
