Larry Eugene Johnson SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mr. Larry Eugene Johnson, 69, of 410 Shaw Ave., entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center after a long illness. He was a native of Spartanburg County. Mr. Johnson was the son of the late Mrs. Mattie Lee Elijah Johnson and Mr. Joseph Johnson, Sr. Larry retired from the City of Spartanburg. Survivors include: a special friend, Mrs. Martha Foster of the home; three sons; five daughters; sisters, Dorothy Johnson of Spartanburg, SC, Willie Mae Musick, of Moore, SC, Annie (Joseph) Means and Carolyn Johnson of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Joseph (Sandra) Johnson, Jr., of Moore, SC, James (Heddy) Johnson of Roebuck, SC and John (Vicky) Johnson of Boiling Springs, SC; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Celebration of the Life of Mr. Larry Eugene Johnson will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel at 1:00 PM Reverend Thomas Massey, Jr., will officiate.
