Johnson, Larry E. EAST GREENBUSH Larry E. Johnson, 68, of East Greenbush died on Friday, December 13, 2013 at Albany Medical Center. Larry was born in Albany, the son of the late Guy F. and Lillian E. (Drost) Johnson Sr. Larry was a senior draftsman for the New York State Department of Transportation for many years before retiring 11 years ago. Larry enjoyed salmon fishing with his friend Jim, collecting cars, canoeing when he was younger, bowling with his family, and most of all photography. Larry is survived by his three brothers, Ronald W. Johnson Sr. of Rensselaer, Guy F. Johnson Jr. of East Greenbush, and Edward C. Johnson of Clifton Park. Larry is also survived by his loving aunt; Margie Johnson; many nieces, nephews and dear friends, Debbie Habiniak and her son John Habiniak. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2013, from the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc., 165 Columbia Tpke., Rensselaer. Friends may call in the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rensselaer.
