Mr. Johnson was a member of Disabled American Veterans, American Legion Post 44, Sons of the American Revolution, Society of the War of 1812, Military Order of the Stars and Bars, Descendants of Mexican War Veterans, and the Sons of Confederate Veterans. He was preceded in death by his parents Donnie and Anna Pearl Courtland Johnson, and sister, Sue Francka. Survivors include his wife, Judy Johnson of Foley; son, Brad Johnson of Orange Beach; daughter, Sara Johnson Myers of Foley; son, Jason Lane of Valdosta, GA; granddaughter, Cursti Johnson of Orange Beach; grandson, Chance Johnson of Orange Beach; grandson, Devin Myers of Foley; brothers, Frank Johnson, Phillip Johnson, & Donnie Johnson and sister, Joyce Vest all of Missouri; and many friends and extended family. A visitation will be held Thursday November 13 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pine Rest Funeral Home. The funeral service for Mr. Johnson will be graveside at Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Friday, November 14, at 11:00 am.
