Larry Clayton Johnson, 70, died July 18, 2011, in Fort Pierce. He was born in Russelville, Ill., and lived in Fort Pierce for 65 years, coming from his birthplace. He was the owner and operator of White City Garage for 20 years. He was a former fireman with St. Lucie County Fire District. He was a Scout master with Boy Scouts of America and a Little League coach. Survivors include his daughters, Angela Johnson and Jessica Johnson; sons, Wade Johnson, Scott Johnson and Cooper Johnson, all of Fort Pierce; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Joan Worley. Services: A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. July 22 at the Southside Christian Church in Fort Pierce with Brother Jeff Minor officiating. Also, a memorial service will be at 7 p.m. July 22 at Charlie's 2 Pub and Grill in Fort Pierce. Arrangements are by Yates Funeral Home, Fort Pierce Chapel.
