Larry C. Smith Larry C. Smith, aged 60, of Vineland died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at South Jersey Healthcare-Regional Medical Center following a lengthily illness. The son of the late Catherine A. Mattson, he was born in Bridgeton on Feb. 13, 1950. He had lived in Vineland for eight years and prior to that was a Bridgeton resident. Prior to his retirement, due to disability he had been employed with Clement Pappas and Company for several years and more recently with Seabrook Brothers and Sons in Upper Deerfield Township. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed attending area AA meetings. Surviving are two sisters, Cathy Finlaw of Vineland and Elizabeth Munyon (Harry) of Cedarville; a brother, David Mattson of Bridgeton and several nephews and nieces. A visitation will be held at the Padgett Funeral Home, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Wednesday morning, Dec. 29, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Cremation and inurnment will take place at Laurel Lawn Crematory in Upper Deerfield Township.
