LaFONTAINE Ana Luisa Murphy LaFontaine died April 27, 2002, age 48. A native of Jacksonville, FL, she was the daughter of Frederick L. and Ana Luisa Murphy, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of eighteen years, Christopher LaFontaine, two sons, Jehoshua and Spencer, two daughters, Rachelle and Celeste; and two sons by a previous marriage, Alex Puma of London, England and Jeremy Puma of Seattle, WA. Other survivors include two brothers, Frederick Murphy and George Murphy, both of California, aunts and numerous cousins in Florida and throughout the country. Ana is remembered for her enthusiastic participation and leadership in local church and civic affairs; she belonged to the PTA and Living History Association and is best known for historical interpretations at the Karpeles Manuscript Library and other local venues. Arrangements are handled by HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME 4115 HENDRICKS AVE. where the viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2002 from 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. Services are scheduled for 11:00A.M. Thursday, May 2, 2002 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 4087 Hendricks Ave. with Bishop Gaylon B. Vorwaller presiding. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
