VASSALBORO -- Louise Y. Arnold, 77, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Augusta campus, following a brief illness. She was born in China, Maine, on Jan. 8, 1936, the daughter of the late Donald and Vivian (Bumps) Young.Mrs. Arnold was a graduate of Erskine Academy, class of 1954.She had been employed by Central Maine Power Co. for 20 years.Mrs. Arnold is survived by her husband of 57 years, Paul Arnold, of Vassalboro; two sons, Bruce Arnold, and his wife, Vicki, of Vassalboro, and Brian Arnold and his wife, Diane, of Augusta; two brothers, Warren Cooper, of Lakeville, and Roy Cooper, of Greenville; four grandchildren, Troy Richards and Brandon, Daniel and Devan Arnold; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.At her request, there will be no public visiting hours.
