Mrs. Lois Anderson, 64, of Pierson, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012. Born in Elmira, New York, she moved to Pierson from there in 1965. She was a resident aide for the Duvall Home in DeLand. She was a member of the Emporia Baptist Church. Survivors include her son Jerry Anderson, Crescent City, FL; daughters: Kimberley Anderson, Pierson, FL, Penni Mitchell, Orange City, FL; sisters: Ruth "Boots" Rundell, Port Orange, FL, Edna Johnson, New Smyrna, FL; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the Emporia Baptist Church, Pierson with Reverend Howard Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery, Pierson.
