MITCHELL, LILLIAN ALBERTA OLLIE SMITH - went peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at home. Born to late Rosa B. (Leonard) Smith and the late Howard Walker. She was married to the late Eugene Mitchell Sr. Preceded in death by parents; husband; sons, Eugene Mitchell, Jr. and John Mitchell; three sisters and two brothers. Survived by children, Talithea (William) McAllister, Cynthea Jett, Frank (Dorothy) Mitchell, Sr., Vickie (George) Jett, and William Mitchell all of Knoxville; sister, Mabel Redden of Texas; eleven grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to include the Foster Chapel church family. Flowers may be delivered to Foster Chapel Baptist Church on Sunday. Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 7, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with services to follow at Foster Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Joseph Tolbert officiating.
