HENDERSON, LESLIE N. , age 68, Vice President and part owner of the former CCSI Inc., died at The Heritage of Lake Forest on April 15, 2006 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Philadelphia, PA. Les began his career in telecommunications working for Bell of Pennsylvania. He served in the U.S. Navy, 1959 thru 1961 and was stationed in San Francisco. Upon his return, Les continued working for Bell of Pennsylvania and progressed thru the management ranks. In 1985, Les retired from Bell of PA, as District Manager, moved to the Orlando Area. Once in Orlando he worked in a number of industries. He earned a contractor's license, worked for Sprint as an engineer then CCSI where he became part owner and VP. In 1995, Les married Betty (Zbikowski) Grant. Prior to a stroke he suffered in 2000. Les was an avid golfer, artist, carpenter, musician, electrical contractor, mentor and master mechanic. His passion was his 1967, 427 Corvette Stingray. A natural leader and teacher, he will be remembered as a courageous man with a great sense of humor. Les is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Betty); his brother, Raymond, California. Sons, Mark, Keith, Matthew; daughters, Jennifer, Michelle, Jessica; step-children, Elyse and Steven Grant. He is further survived by grandchildren, and many, many friends. A Memorial Service for Leslie N. Henderson will be held at the Heritage Lake Forest on Friday, April 21, 2006 at 1:30PM.
