Lenora Williams of Elmsford, NY was called to her final rest at the Westchester County Medical Center, Valhalla, NY, on February 15, 2002. She was 82 years old. Lenora was born March 16, 1919 in Iva, South Carolina to the late Mason Smith and Willie Mae Robinson Smith. She was a faithful and devoted member of the First Baptist Church, Elmsford, NY, where she served as a Missionary. She also worked for many years as an Assistant Teacher at the Union Child Day Care Center, Greenburgh, NY. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Weldon Williams, daughter Barbara Whiting, and grandson Kyle Roselle. "Nana", as she was affectionately called by many, is survived by daughters Jean Tolbert, Elmsford, NY and Victoria Donaldson, Witchita, KS; sister, Reberta Beattie, New Haven, CT; brothers: Clemson Smith, New Haven, CT; Milton Smith, Chicago, IL, Otha Smith, Portsmouth, VA; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Viewing will be Wednesday, February 20, 2002 from 6-8 PM at the First Baptist Church, 145 North Lawn Ave., Elmsford, NY and Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 21, 2002, 11 AM at First Baptist Church, Elmsford, NY. Interment, Greenwood Union Cemetery, Rye, NY.
