JORDAN Kevin Scott Jordan, 27, passed away unexpectedly on August 21, 2011. He was the beloved son of James Jimmy and Paula Jordan. Kevin was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville having graduated from Bishop Kenny H. S. in 2002 where he lettered in Swimming and an honored member of the NJROTC. Kevin earned the honor of Eagle Scout, his project marked fire hydrants in neighborhoods, still in effect today. Kevin was certified in the state of Florida as a firefighter, EMT and was working on his paramedic certification. He was a dispatcher/EMT for Liberty Ambulance. Kevin was always available to help anyone, having helped hundreds in the past, and continued to help as an organ donor. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James L. Jordan, James and Louise Edmondson. He is survived by: his loving parents, an adorable daughter, Vernetta Jo-lynn; grandmother, Erma Jordan; families of Jerry (Cindy) Jordan, Jeffery Jordan, James (Shirley) Edmondson, Jr., Richard E. Baker and other family members, as well as many friends. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, 8/29/2011 at 11:00AM at Ft. Caroline Christian Church, 7535 Ft. Caroline Rd. A fellowship will follow.
