Kenneth Harding Johnson, 82, of 30 Farmview Drive died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002, at Greenville Memorial Medical Center. Born in Cleveland, he was the son of the late Moody and Sarah Lina Buchanan Johnson. Mr. Johnson was retired from Frank Ulmer/Builders Mart and was an Army Veteran of WWII and member of Clearview Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Jennie Sue Lowe Johnson, of the home; three daughters, Joyce Johnson Evans of Greenville, Gloria Kathleen Johnson of the home and Martha Johnson Stewart of Travelers Rest; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Kenneth Johnson and wife Laura Holmes Johnson, of Cleveland; four sisters, Lillie McCombs of Marietta, Betty Case of Travelers Rest, Fay Haulter of Dacusville and Delcie Maxey of Blue Ridge; sister-in-law, Frances Johnson, of Marietta; grandchildren, Julie Tompkins, Ronald Evans, Bill Stewart, Michael Stewart, B.J. Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Justin Stewart, Shelby Moody, Alexandria Johnson and Olivia Johnson. He was predeceased by a brother, Henry Johnson; and two sisters, Frances Hagan and Edith Hagan. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock at The Howze Mortuary Chapel, with burial at Grand View Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the home.
