DeWITT, Kenneth George of Clearwater, passed away peacefully April 26, 2008, at home. He was born June 28, 1908, in Bradford, ME. He began an auto repair business in 1939 and during World War II he trained pilots. After he opened an aviation business as a Piper distributor in New England and Canada. During his retirement he restored 35 antique autos. He was married to Dot DeWitt for 54 years until her death in 2000. He is survived by six children, including Barbara DeCastro of Belleair. He was predeceased by a son, Alan Leahy. There will be a private memorial service in Old Town, ME.
